3rd Grade just started Unit 3.3. For the next several weeks, we will be working on describing school objects by color and number. Work on the vocabulary at home using the attached vocabulary resource sheet.

I have passed out the review sheet and their first assessment is the first class next week. All tests are verbal in 3rd grade....

2 weeks students will have to name 2 reasons why Spanish is important, 5 Spanish Speaking Countries (I gave them a sheet) and where the Spanish Language originated. Espana !!!!!

Grade 2

Second graders are being exposed to Spanish language and culture for one 45-minute period each ABCD schedule. They do not receive grades, but I do like to give simple assessments at the end of each unit, to help me improve my instruction.

Each unit has a list of vocabulary that the children will know and be able to use at the end of it. I do not require reading and writing, simply listening and speaking the language!

Unit 1 – Saludos/Greetings

Students will be exposed to this vocabulary:
Buenos días/buenas tardes.
